Story :
Satakarni (Balakrishna) the emperor of the Satavahana kingdom nurtures a dream – a united Bharata khandam. As a child, he misses his father who goes on wars and asks his mother about that. She says that his father went to win other emperors. He then vows to her mother that he is going to create a single big empire uniting all the small regions, spreading peace. This has become his life motive and how he achieved that motive forms the rest of the story.
Balakrishna powerful performance as Gautamiputra Satakarni. Even, Shriya, Hema Malini, Rajkumar, Kabir Bedi and Ravi Prakash have given their best performance.

Technical Aspects :
Krish has created a brilliant screenplay, which is engaging right from the beginning till the end. The director has nicely blended all commercial ingredients like action, romance, drama and punch dialogues in the serious and real-life story.

Finally :
Finally, the novelty and the subject from the pages of Telugu history is a great pick that we should lay back and consider as “mark-as-read” for this Sankranthi. And Balayya can cherish it for making it his 100th film.
