Telangana Chief Minister KCR held all-party meeting wth MPs, MLAs and MLCs belonging to Backward Classes, at the Legislative Assembly. The State government is likely to apprise the elected representatives of the findings of Telangana State Backward Classes Commission on the status of MBCs in the State.
During the recent Assembly session, Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao observed that no major progress was achieved during the previous governments’ rule through establishment of numerous corporations and federations for different castes among Backward Classes. He felt some BCs were in a more pathetic condition than SCs and STs, making it clear that they would be the priority of the State government in terms of welfare and developmental activities. He urged all legislators to make suggestions to improve welfare and development schemes for BCs.
He also said that there is no budget shortage for BCs developement. And also he ugreed that if any member give the representation for the development of BCs, then the governament will proceed through that.
