జమ్మూ-కశ్మీర్‌లో ఆదివారం జరిగిన భీకర ఎన్‌కౌంటర్‌లో సైన్యానికి చెందిన ఒక కర్నల్‌, ఒక మేజర్‌, ఇద్దరు సైనికులు, జమ్మూ-కశ్మీర్‌ పోలీసు విభాగానికి చెందిన ఒక ఎస్సై వీరమరణం పొందారు.
‘క్లిష్ట పరిస్థితుల్లోనూ విధులను మర్చిపోనివారే నిజమైన హీరోలు. వారి త్యాగం మర్చిపోవద్దు. హంద్వారాలో ప్రాణత్యాగం చేసిన జవాన్లు, పోలీసులకు నేను తల వంచి వందనం చేస్తున్నాను. వారి ఆత్మకు శాంతి కలగాలి. వారి కుటుంబాలకు నా ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతి. జైహింద్‌’ అని విరాట్ ట్వీట్‌ చేశారు.
